Scaled enterprise AI adoption at Truist across three Copilot deployment waves, establishing the enablement ecosystem spanning training, communications, Champions, Office Hours, Learning Hub, measurement and business activation.
Impact
The record, with the numbers attached.
Programs I've led from concept through enterprise deployment — AI enablement, agentic activation, governance, intelligent automation, portfolio management and regulatory remediation — inside three of the largest banks in the United States. Almost none of it was solo work; the numbers below are what the teams and partnerships around these programs delivered.
Enterprise AI adoption & enablement
The AI Learning Hub launched out of the enablement program I lead, serving as the enterprise front door for AI capability and reaching 17,000+ views and roughly 850 daily visits during its launch period.
Delivered ~10,000+ Microsoft-led training touchpoints, ~5,000 Copilot 101 attendees, 4,000+ advanced-prompting registrations, 1,000+ Office Hours participants and 200+ leaders through targeted white-glove sessions.
Designed the enterprise learning architecture from Copilot fluency through advanced prompting, Agent Builder foundations, AI policy and standards, and role-based agentic journeys, supported by a Microsoft co-delivery/ESI model that reduced training expense.
Agentic AI & business activation
Expanded Agent Builder from a 2,500-teammate pilot to 50,000-teammate adoption in weeks, building the path from AI fluency to agent-building and workflow redesign. Train, Enable, Adopt — in action.
Teammates built and activated more than 6,500 agents inside four weeks, supported by a certification path for responsible agent building that the program partnered on.
Two sets of Prompt-a-thons took roughly 300 people from first prompts to working business use cases in a single session — hands-on, practical, and driven by the people closest to the work.
Established the hub-and-spoke model toward use-case activation, workflow redesign, workforce redesign and capacity creation — expanding the partnership with Human Resources to evolve AI Enablement into a true cross-enterprise function.
Commercial Banking credit transformation
Led strategy and the execution team for Commercial Credit Transformation at Wells Fargo across eight business units, redesigning operating models and workflows across the entire value chain — sales, credit decisioning and underwriting.
Built the Commercial Banking target operating model for AI and innovation, staffed the team and prioritized use cases against growth, efficiency and risk outcomes.
Consolidated 16 business-line change teams into a single Wholesale PMO, standardizing delivery roles and Agile practices, strengthening executive governance and reducing duplication.
Led CLM transformation connecting business, digital, data and product teams to define a Commercial Banking authorized-user and customer-contact master solution.
Led enterprise risk, control and compliance transformation across Wholesale/Commercial Banking — Self-Assurance, risk framework gap assessments, target operating models and early-stage RCSA process documentation.
Delivered 40+ intelligent automation solutions across Commercial Banking — RPA, document automation and APIs — with ~30% year-over-year capacity growth.
AI governance, investment & automation
Built Wells Fargo Commercial Banking's AI program and governance model, establishing the target operating model, staffing the team and prioritizing use cases against growth, efficiency and risk outcomes.
Directed $10M in GenAI investment within a broader $30M annual innovation portfolio, leading strategic planning, execution tracking and financial performance at 95% funding utilization.
Delivered 40+ intelligent automation solutions — RPA, document automation and APIs — generating $10M in annual expense savings and increasing automation capacity ~30% year over year.
Contributed to the measurement approach for AI adoption and value, spanning adoption, behavior, outcomes and sentiment rather than a single vanity metric.
Regulatory transformation & delivery
Founded Truist's FIRE (Findings Intake, Remediation & Execution) program, centralizing governance, prioritization and executive transparency across technology findings.
Technology organization closed 81 findings in 2025, increased audit closures 163% YoY and improved first-line issue identification 124% YoY.
Consolidated 16 business-line change teams into a single Wholesale PMO, standardizing delivery roles and Agile practices and strengthening executive governance.
Built and led a global change and innovation team across three countries, realizing $1M in annual savings through resource strategy and upskilling.
Comparing notes
The technology arrives on its own.
The capability doesn't.
If you're working on AI enablement somewhere — or just thinking about the same problems — I'm always glad to trade notes on what's actually working.
